Case Study

Tech YouTube
Experiment

Created from scratch in January 2024, this solo YouTube project was designed to test content strategy and audience engagement. The result? Monetization from a single video and over 370,000 views in just 3 uploads.

Project Challenges

Challenge #1

Competitive Niche

I picked a saturated market on purpose to test if smart strategy and execution could still break through.

Challenge #2

Complex Topics

Apple’s hardware is dense. My goal was to simplify without dumbing things down, making tech feel accessible to the average consumer.

Challenge #3

Algorithm Visibility

From thumbnail design to intro hook and pacing, I had to learn how to retain viewers and earn clicks with no existing audience.

How I Made It Happen

Strategy

I researched what worked on YouTube, studied thumbnails, hooks, pacing, and successful creators. I mapped out 10+ topic ideas and chose those with strong search potential and emotional resonance.

Production

I scripted each video with retention in mind, planned my visuals in advance, filmed with a teleprompter, captured B-roll, and created custom motion graphics.

Editing

I composed original music, built animations and charts, and kept the pacing tight to maximize retention by delivering information as fast as possible without it feeling rushed.
